On 17th of April, exactly a month before the actual music event named Dan elektronike, it's preparty took place in the dance arena on Slovenian island in virtual world Second Life. The event itself was also advertised on virtual boards around the place.
The virtual party began at 9:00 pm. In the next two hours DJ Umek presented his 2 newest music sets as it is him, who is pretty much responsible for the birth of actual Dan elektronike event in the first place.
From the moment the party started, until the end two hours later, all the visitors were encouraged to participate in a prize game - they only had to click on especially for that designed billboard. Minutes before the party ended, the machine drew lots and to twenty lucky winners we sent home DJ Umek's CD.
