For the Slovenian mobile operator Si.mobil - Vodafone we created a presentation in the virtual world Second Life. The Si.mobil - Vodafone island is divided into three parts - visitors can visit the dancing arena, where music is being played by famous Slovenian and foreign DJs, they can hang around in the luxurious villa of the company's Chairman of the Board, or they can visit Si.mobil LAB, which is the exact copy of the real LAB that stands in Ljubljana’s BTC retail complex.
The island enables visitors to send free SMS' from the virtual to the real world, which is not just something new in Slovenia but it is the first system of this kind in the world. The avatars (virtual users) can send up to 24 free SMS' daily with the help of three specially designed kiosks that are strategically spread around the island.
We also organise parties on the island on a regular basis, where the Second Life population can meet and dance to modern electronic music.
