The second end of a week in July, the Koper city will yet again breath in rhythms of the main north Adriatic music gathering. Free creative open air festival DiscoNautica 08 – Orto Smart Music Getaway will host a crowd of DJs from the region, such as Sharam (Deep Dish), Moonbootica, M.I.K.E., Paolo Martini, Paco Osuna and Ian Pooley. This year's specialty will be the Friday's evening programme, which is planned as a compliment to pioneers of Chichago house music. Futuristing Music invited Steve »Silk« Hurley, Roy Davies JR and DJ Skip, who will all perform in Slovenia for the very first time. DiscoNautica remains the hatchery of ideas and meeting point of creators. The place where fresh authors can present their work and speak to old hands in a relaxed atmosphere. Platform, with four dancing arenas and a dozen of creative workshops, enables young people to learn about electronic dance culture and how to qualitly spend vacation time at the beach. This year DiscoNautica is adding another dimension as well, as it joined a charity initiative of Wings for Life organization.
