For our client we created an application for MAGNUM SMS prize competition.
Participation was possible only by sending an SMS with keyword »MAGNUM« and bar code to phone number 3939. Users were able to get a bar code on the cover of the Magnum ice cream (7 different tastes = 7 different bar codes). Users were also able to participate via postcards or by answering online questionnaire. The questionnaire can be found here.
Magnum prize game was taking place from 20th of June 2008 (from 00:00) until 31st of July 2008 (till midnight). During this prize game there was weekly drawing of lots, where 1 Chocolate pack for two in Atlantis and 10 Magnum towels were given away.
At the end of the game, there was a final draw for:
1. prize: 1 x new car, Seat Ibiza (1.2 reference)
2. prize: 1 x Wellness weekend package for two, with chocolate massage in Terme Krka
3. prize: 1 x Chocolate package for two in Atlantis
4. prize 10 x Magnum towels
All participants are automatically joined into MAGNUM SMS club.
